Our mission to build rooted, strong, growing, and engaged gospel communities in our post-Christian urban world. To do this we seek to train the members and attenders of Holy Trinity Church in various ways.
Sunday Services and Communities
In addition to our regular Sunday services, congregations of Holy Trinity Church offer various classes to help people go deeper in their understanding of Christianity and its relation to various topics. Examples of class that are offered include: Christianity and Art, Can I Trust the Bible?, and Race and Faith. Please visit the individual congregations' pages (Downtown, North Side, Pilsen) for more information the specific classes being offered.
Reading One-to-One
No matter where you are in your understanding of Jesus, one of best ways to discover (more) about Jesus is through reading the Bible with someone else and discussing what it means. If this is something you are interested in doing, please click here.
Reading One-to-One Training
We believe that reading the Bible with someone is one of the best ways to help them understand who Jesus is and what it means to follow Him. Because of this, we encourage all Holy Trinity Church members to be trained in how to do this effectively through a short online curriculum, which can be found here.
The Chicago Plan
The Chicago Plan is Holy Trinity Church's residential training scheme devoted to training potential pastors, church planters, and full-time Christian workers. The curriculum consists of three parts: classroom instruction, ministry experience, and mentorship from a Holy Trinity Church pastor. If you would like more information on The Chicago Plan, or are interested in possibly applying please click here.
Holy Trinity Fellowship Church-Planting Residency
Holy Trinity Fellowship residents are church-planting pastors-in-training for God-honoring, Christ-exalting, Spirit-empowered gospel ministry in the urban centers of the world. Under the supervision of Holy Trinity Church pastoral staff, these men will train in nine-month cohorts and assume ministerial duties and responsibilities as assigned by pastoral supervisors.
