Because of the generosity God has shown us through the gospel of Jesus Christ we respond by giving of our whole lives. Our church operates and ministers through the generosity of our members and attenders. Gifts given to Holy Trinity Church can be separated into multiple funds. If you would like to give to HTC there are multiple ways to give.
General Fund (by Congregation)
The general fund for Pilsen, Downtown, and North Side supports our congregations and city-wide ministries.
Deacon Fund
The deacon fund is used to support those in our midst who are in need, consisting of provision of food, transportation, health costs, etc. If you wish a gift to be designated to the deacon fund, please either indicate so in the memo line, or give your cash gift during the deacon offering.
Chicago 2025 Special Fund
For those who wish to give above a tithe, we are creating a special fund. We have a vision of forming practicing disciples who love Christ, know His Word, and engage their neighbors with the life-transforming power of the Gospel.
Goal to see this come to fruition: $750K
Short Term Property Fund
Holy Trinity Downtown needs a sustainable, hospitable space for worship, gathering, and ministry. Establishing roots in a community matters to us.
Goal to see this come to fruition: $510K
City Renewal Fund
Long term, we dream of developing a multi-faceted ministry center downtown, which can serve as the hub of our vision for God’s renewal in the city of Chicago. This is a massive undertaking and will require great patience and bold faith. But we want to invite our church family into now.
Goal to see this come to fruition: $12 Million
Ways to Give
Online Automatic Giving
You can also give using a debit card, credit card, or a bank account withdrawal. If you would like to have your gift debited weekly or monthly select "Yes, set up recurring" under the total amount you would like to give. This will allow you the freedom to ensure your donation is processed timely throughout the year.
Under "giving type" please indicate which congregation or fund you'd like to assign your giving.
Weekly Gifts During Services
You can give through cash or check in the offering bag during Sunday worship. Each week general fund offering is taken, but on the second Sunday of the month Holy Trinity Church takes an additional offering for the deacon fund.
Send a Check in the Mail
Please indicate in the memo line which congregation or ministry area which you would like to contribute (e.g., Downtown, North Side, Pilsen, deacon offering), and mail your check to our new address beginning July 1:

Online Bill Payment Through Your Bank
Most banks have a free option to send one-time or recurring gifts/payments through your online banking account. This is similar to sending a check in the mail, but instead your bank will electronically generate a check and send it through the mail to the Holy Trinity Church office. This saves you time and postage. Plus, you can track your giving through your online banking account. Contact your bank to see if they provide this option. Mail giving to the above address, and be sure to indicate the congregation or ministry to which you are giving.
